Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Meet Hudson + West!
We have a new yarn in stock that we are very excited about! We'll let them introduce themselves:
Designer-driven and knitter-focused, Hudson + West is about making yarns that you’ll want to return to over and over. We create yarns that support the ready-to-wear inspired garments and accessories that form the core of the modern knitter’s wardrobe. And we source and produce our yarns in the U.S., using a traceable, sustainable, and fair supply chain.
 [via website]

So here they are!
Forge
This is their Worsted Weight Yarn! Each skein has 235 Yards and is made up of 70% U.S. Merino and 30% U.S. Corriedale.

Weld
This is their Fingering Weight Yarn! Each skein has 200 yards (are you thinking colorwork because we're thinking colorwork) and is also made up of 70% U.S. Merino and 30% U.S. Corriedale.
Their website is overflowing with classic yet modern patterns for these yarns. We have no doubt that you'll find something to put on needles immediately!
At the moment, we only have select colors available for purchase. We will be having a trunk show with their full color lines and samples December 3-10. If you're interested in their other colors before the Trunk Show we will be happy to special order them for you.
We hope you love this yarn as much as we do!
Hair Fairy and Yarn Swap!

Mark your calendars for a very fun Wednesday in December!
December 4th, 5-8:30pm, Kate the Hair Fairy will be in the store to sparkle your locks! She prefers cash but takes other forms of payment as well. The sign up list is here, you must sign up for a time slot in order to get your hair done.
That same night and time we will also be having a Yarn Swap! Just a reminder about the swap rules:
  • Only bring yarn you are absolutely ready to part with.
  • Because everyone will be bringing yarn with varying price points, it's best not to come with a specific monetary value in mind that you're looking to recoup
  • Both Annie and Co and non-Annie and Co yarns are welcome
  • Yarn must still have a label accompanying it (indicating fiber content, yardage, etc.)
  • You must bring something to contribute in order to participate - no coming in just to graze the pile for free
Yarns that aren't chosen at the end of the swap will be donated to a High School Knitting Club.

We hope you'll join us for this fun evening!
