Kate Atherley is coming to Annie and Company!

 

Kate is an accomplished knitting teacher, designer, and technical editor with expertise in making even the most daunting knitting skills achievable. She is well known for her attention to detail and rigorous, mathematical approach to the knitting process. In addition to publishing numerous books (Custom Socks: Knit to Fit your Feet, Custom-Fit Hats, The Knitter’s Dictionary), she is the Managing Technical Editor at Knitty.com and the co-publisher of Digits & Threads.

 

While she's in NYC, Kate will be teaching two special workshops at the store: Intro to Garment Alterations and Intro to Colorwork: Fair Isle, Intarsia, and Slip-Stitch Knitting. Details about both classes can be found here. Both will take place on Sunday, October 15.
