Akoya by Stolen Stitches

This spring I wanted a versatile, stylish and flattering cardigan that was simple enough to be worn with just about everything. This cardigan keeps the basic styling simple, its short style is worn with negative ease, but small lace and cable details at the hem, cuff and neckline keep it interesting.  As the waist band sits just below the natural waist the wide ribbing pulls in snugly without needing to decrease the stitches. The bustline is designed to fit with a little negative ease which creates a form fitting garment without any side shaping.

Gauge: 23 sts and 32 rows = 4" in Stockinette stitch

Finished Bust Measurement: 28.25 (31.25, 34, 37, 40, 42.75, 46.25, 49, 52.25) with buttonband closed.

Needle Size: Size 4 US/3.5 mm circular needle, 32" length (Size 4 US/3.5mm dpns if not using magic loop).

Additional information: Lace pattern is both written and charted. Cable pattern is charted only.
